In front of the Prettyman Courthouse after the Gitmo prisoners' lawyers spoke to the press about the CIA tapes.

Just before we ran over to the DoJ. Des had played Cheney previously, but switched to a cop role and promoted Gael to Veep--I was Bush while we were at the courthouse, then Ellen took over after lunch.

Kissy-kissy!
More Guerrilla Theater below!

After DoJ we headed for lunch at the National Gallery of Art's sculpture garden and skating rink.

Big hit in the restaraunt, especially with the kids.

"Can I try it on next? Can I try? Lemme try it!

Just a casual walk in the park for two war criminals.

Lots of people skating stopped to take pictures.

Mom explains the CIA tapes thing to her curious kid.

Officer Williams "impeached and removed Bush."

Laughing it up with Williams--he and Officer Mathew were very nice as they noted we had to leave. Apparently there was a complaint. I asked if we could take a poll, but we complied (slowly). Some people in the rink started to chant, "Freedom of speech! This is a democracy!"

All we really were required to do was keep the heads of and hide the tape prop, but we'd made the point anyway.

Laughing dude in green 3 pics above came over and offered to burn the tape.

Somebody had come out of the restaurant and requested a window-side performance. Since Williams and Mathew were distracted by some kids playing on the sculptures, we were able to get away with a little more theater before leaving.

Lots of people wanted to have their pictures taken with the criminals. We even had a bit of an entourage on the way out of the garden.

I think that SOS sign is unfurled more or less where Sean was singing in September, no?
